The goal of the Festival is to present the artistic creations of amateur children and youth theatres from Mazovia, to encourage instructors to look for new ways of working with their ensembles, as well as to inspire the artistic activity of children and young people. The jury consists of connoisseurs of theatrical art, who apart from the professional evaluation of the groups also offer artistic consultations for artists and instructors.

In the earlier editions of the Festival the jurors were, among others: Anna Chodakowska, Janusz Majcherek, Grzegorz Mrówczyński, Wiesława Niemyska, Joanna Szczepkowska, and Artur Żmijewski. During the Finale there are theatrical workshops, happenings, guest performances, and discussions. The traditional Festival Finale takes place in the seat of the theatre which won the main prize in the youth category in the previous edition of the Festival.
